Please read before you start: How to use this e-learning tool

  • Please start with module 1 and end up with module 9, begin with unit 1 and finish with the last unit. The modules and units are built on one another. If you jump between modules and units you might have difficulties understanding it because of missing information that has been transmitted in the module before.
  • Each unit takes about 20 - 30 minutes. You can stop and continue whenever you want. If you stop within a unit the system will ask you next time if you want to resume where you left off.
  • Each unit includes interactive buttons.
    a)  Not all information is transmitted all at once. In the slides you will find lettered fields. If you click on them you get further information about the topic.
    b) Information buttons, round and yellow with an “I” in its middle: if you click on the i-button you will get further explanations about a topic, including important sources and further reading or the like.
  • Exercises: We try to make the units as varied as possible. Therefore we created different small exercises, sometimes within the unit, sometimes at the very end of it. After finishing the exercise you find a button “send” or “submit”, depending on the exercise, that leads you to the solution. In some types of exercises you will have the possibility to retry the exercise, sometimes the solution will be shown to you immediately.
Important: These exercises are made for you as a refreshing of the lessons learned and to give you a first playful possibility to apply your just learned knowledge. The results won’t be saved or published.
  • Don’t be surprised, as the modules are written by different authors and have been produced during different development periods, the style of the modules may vary.
